Primary: 2 Dems to contend for 2nd Congressional District; 1 GOP to run unopposed

The newly drawn 2nd Congressional District will pit an incumbent Democrat against a political neophyte in the primary, while a Republican candidate will run unopposed.

Democrat Brendan Boyle, a two-term Congressman representing the old congressional map’s 13th District, will face Michele Lawrence in the May 15 primary.
